#5 Google +

Well, I tried like others before me to use Zoho Writer. And like those before me, I got the grey screen. I went out and tried again, but despite all my efforts, it would not post to my blog! I even managed to work out how to change to the https setting that it demanded. After all this, I still could not post it properly. It kept telling me that my password and login name were incorrect. I double checked everything and still it wouldn't work. Oh well, it was interesting to try it anyway.

    Well, now I have also had a go at Google Docs. Easy to use and the beauty of it is that it can be used on any computer and I believe the Smart phones can also access this which is great. A free service that has great opportunities. My concern is that I could not work out how to move any information to my blog from it though.

    I see this as a good alternative when working on research with the students especially with their image collection - other word processing programmes can be an issue either not working properly, or other concerns.

    So pleased you were able to use & enjoy Google Docs. It has amazing capabilties for collaborative tasks. It is not necessary for this task to link to your blog. Great work!!!
